John Michael Cunningham, 48, of Houston, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. John was born on September 4, 1973 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Vernon and Bobbie Cunningham. He was part owner of C2 Freight Resources, Inc., for 23 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved Kentucky sports, NASCAR, and he loved his family and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the chapel at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where his funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will be held at Houston Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Jason Sterling will officiate.
John is survived by his wife of 23 years, Tina Cunningham; children, Lexie Marie Cunningham and Lauryn Michael Cunningham; parents, Vernon and Bobbie Cunningham; siblings, Lisa (Steve) McFarland and Paul (Donna) Cunningham; nephews and nieces, Justin (Lori) McFarland, Heather (James) Morris, Drew (Kaitlyn) Cunningham, Luke Cunningham, Grace Spivey and Josie Spivey and a host of great-nephews and one great-niece.
Pallbearers will include Drew Cunningham, Luke Cunningham, Justin McFarland, James Morris, Kyle Carden, and Heath Crider. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Ergle and Jacob Norman.
