Lee Silas Trussell

Lee Silas Trussell, 96, of Cullman, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Woodland Village Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

He was born August 30, 1928 to George and Lelar Trussell. Lee was a humble and kind role model.  He was a hard worker and a very giving person. Lee was a family man.  He enjoyed westerns, bingo and yard work.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 23, from 10-11 a.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where his funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Arley Congregational Cemetery (Smith Schoolhouse). Franklin Decatur will officiate.

Lee is survived by his brothers, Raymond Trussell and Glenn Trussell; sister, Violene Kelley; grandchildren, Bengie (Wendy) Trussell, Mikie (Yesenia) Trussell, Daisy Lee and Robin (Leah) Netherton and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Gibson Trussell; brothers, Cecil Trussell, Paul Trussell, Ray Trussell, Celburn Trussell, Johnny Trussell and Thurman David; sisters, Christine Anders and Willodine Smith; children, Jerry Trussell and Joyce Netherton; parents, George and Lelar Trussell and granddaughter, Pam Netherton.
