BEAR CREEK - Julianna Taylor, who graduated in 2018 from Phillips High School in Bear Creek, has signed a volleyball scholarship with Blue Mountain College.

After graduating from Phillips High School Julianna received an academic scholarship from Northwest Shoals Community College.
While at Northwest, she was also an ambassador. In January, Julianna was offered a scholarship to play volleyball at Blue Mountain.
Julianna said “I am very excited about playing and being a part of a new volleyball program at Blue Mountain.” She also said, “I am so thankful to have family, friends and coaches that have loved and supported me during my high school years and who still continue showing that same love and support.”
Coach Grubbs commented about Taylor’s scholarship, “This is what coaching is all about. I am so excited to see Julianna get this scholarship because she has truly earned it.
Coach Gann expressed his excitement about Taylor coming to BMC. “It is players like Julianna that will make us competitive this coming season. She will be play at outside hitter for us and will fit well with our team.”
