The Haleyville 10 and under all star softball team brought home the hardware this summer, culminating with the state championship! Their all-star record is 6-1 and they are the first-ever state champions for Haleyville in 10U. They won the North Central Pre-Area tournament hosted at the Haleyville Sports Complex on June 1, 2019, followed by the North Central Area Tournament In Fultondale on June 15. On June 22, the state tournament was played in Calera. They beat Walker County All-Stars 6-5 in the championship game. This team battled hard through six straight games to become USSSA State Champions. Team members include from left, Creleigh Gargis, Hope Swims, Emme Romine, Bryleigh Butler, Kate Wilson, Brooklyn Butler, Marli Stewart, Ella Kennedy, Emma Gravely and Kaylee Webb.The coaching staff includes: assistant Chad Swims, head coach Justin Wilson, assistant Jeremy Butler and assistant Chad Kennedy.
