Mary Gay Silas, 83, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Haleyville Health Care Center.
Mary was a long-time active member of Grace Baptist Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Venus McCormick and her husband Vernon of 64 years.
She is survived by her sons, Greg Silas (Susan), Paul Silas (Regina); grandchildren, Meagan Silas Matechak (John), William Silas, Allison Silas, Tyler Silas, Aaron Durrence, Olivia Durrence, Alison Durrence; brothers Charles Belon (Betty) McCormick, Larry (Janice) McCormick, sister Martha (Ronnie) Wilson; as well as many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville at 10 a.m. with Pastor Ricky Thrasher officiating. Pinkard Funeral Home Haleyville directing.
