Joseph "Wilton" Jack, 87, of Haleyville, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, after a brief illness.
Wilton was a lifelong resident of Haleyville and a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Phil Campbell. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He was also a veteran in the Alabama National Guard.
His visitation will be Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 1 - 3 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Phil Campbell. His funeral will begin at 3 p.m. with Jared Oden speaking and John Humphres officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville directed.
Mr. Jack is survived by his wife of almost 66 years, Truby Pinkard Jack; children, Keith Jack, Jeffrey (Rhonda) Jack and Debbie (Mark) Foster and grandchildren, Ryan Foster, Tyler Foster and Hannah Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Bertha Jack; brothers, Elbert Jack and Elton Jack and sister, Agnes (Jack) Tidwell.
