Clyde Ronlee Pruitt

Clyde Ronlee Pruitt, 83, of Haleyville, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Hendrix Health and Rehabilitation in Double Springs. 

Clyde was born on March 9, 1941, to Jess and Eva Pruitt. He loved to spend his time hunting, fishing and going to flea markets. He was an Alabama football fan. He served in the Army from 1964-1966. More than anything, however, Clyde loved spending time with his family. 

His visitation will be held Monday, February 17, 2025, from 12-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. His funeral will follow, starting at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Maxwell Chapel Cemetery. Brother Dylan Scott will officiate.

Clyde is survived by his daughters, Loretta Plemmons and Emily (Zach) Pruitt; sons, Ricky (Tammy) Pruitt, Darrin (Amy) Pruitt and Randy Pruitt; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Riddle and a host of nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanie Pruitt; sons, Dan Pruitt, Barry Pruitt and Kenny Pruitt; parents, Jess and Eva Pruitt; son-in-law, Stephen Plemmons and several siblings.
