Emma Azalee Dutton, 76, of Double Springs, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at her residence.
She was born February 3, 1949, in Double Springs to David Anderson Ward and Emma Ward. Emma attended Union Grove Baptist Church in Double Springs.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where her funeral will follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Kelly Mill Cemetery in Double Springs. Brother Mickey Millican and Brother T. J. Millican will officiate.
Emma is survived by her daughters, Tammy (John) Lynn, Lisa (George-Butch) Curtis and Cynthia (Steve) Hamilton; grandchildren, Heather (Kyle) Miller, Ryan Curtis, Riley Curtis, Bryant (Keisha) Lynn, Nick Parrish, Brittney (Eric) Smith and Jessie (Savanna) Redd; great-grandchildren, Tig Miller, Avery Redd, Tanner Easterwood, Tennie Easterwood, Brooklyn Smith, Adalynn Smith and Levi Smith; brother, Arthur Ward; sister-in-law, Barbra Atkins and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dutton; parents, David Anderson Ward and Emma K. Ward; brothers, Wilburn Ward, Simon Ward, Frank Ward and Lacy Ward and sisters, Ola Faye White, Winnie Jo Lloyd and and Lavern Ledbetter.
