Jarrod Tidwell, 40, of Double Springs, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Lakeland Community Hospital.
Jarrod was born to Quimby Milton and Tommie Sue Tidwell on July 9, 1984. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children. Jarrod enjoyed reading scripture in his Bible. He always wanted to be outside piddling with something. Jarrod loved driving his big truck and made it known that logging was his passion. No matter what, above all, he made sure his family was taken care of.
Visitation will be held at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with his funeral to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will take place in Antioch Cemetery in Double Springs.
Jarrod is survived by his wife, Kesha Tidwell; sons Jonah, Jayden and Josyah Tidwell; daughters, Kayten and Kenzlie Tidwell; mother, Tommie Sue Tidwell; mother-in-law, Darlene (Gene) Seal; brothers, Joshua Tidwell, Justin Tidwell and Jacob (Brenna) Tidwell and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Kaylee and Gracie Tidwell; father, Milton Tidwell; grandparents, Tom and Jean Hocking and Earl and Bertha Tidwell and aunt, Betty Blevins.
