ARLEY  - The east side of Winston County will reap the benefit from AT&T Fixed Wireless Internet service, designed to bring high speed internet to rural, under-served locations such as Arley, Addison, Crane Hill and Logan.
AT&T made the grand announcement in Winston County Tuesday, Oct. 23, attended by officials with the Winston County Commission, Town of Arley, state and federal officials.
The site chosen for the announcement--made by Dave Hargrove, governmental affairs for AT&T--was a 4G LTE cell tower on County Road 41, which will help transmit this new high speed service--a  10 megabyte per second download speed and one megabyte upload speed for small businesses and primarily residential areas.
