Default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by that certain mortgage executed by Jeanette D. Williams, a single woman, to United States of America, acting through the Rural Housing Service, USDA, f/k/a the Farmers Home Administration, dated November 14, 1979, said mortgage recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Winston County, Alabama, in Book 259, Page 350 and corrected in Book 260 , Page 385 and corrected again in Page 809, Book 262, modified in Book 335, Page 133 and said modification corrected in Page 425, Book 335. Under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, the undersigned, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ACTING THROUGH THE RURAL HOUSING SERVICE, USDA, F/K/A THE FARMERS HOME ADMINISTRATION, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash, in front of the main entrance of the Courthouse in the City of Double Springs, Winston County, Alabama on January 30, 2019, during the legal hours of sale, all of its right, title, and interest in and to the following described real estate, situated in Winston County, Alabama, to-wit:
Lot #55 of Brookhaven Subdivision and also one-half of Lot #56 which lies adjoining to and contiguous with the said part of Lot #56 being described as follows: Begin on the East side of Quarter Creek at a point which is 67.5 feet North of the point on the East side of Quarter Creek where lots 56 and 55 join, thence in a southerly direction along the East side of Quarter Creek a distance of 67.5 feet to the corner of Lot #55, thence North 42° 50` East along the line between Lot #55 and #56 for a distance of 275.76 feet to Brook Lane, thence in a Northwesterly direction a distance of 60 feet, thence in a southwesterly direction to the point of beginning.
Subject to restrictive covenants recorded in Deed Book #137, Page 216. A map of said subdivision as located in the City of Haleyville, Winston Count, Alabama is recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate in Winston County, Alabama in Map Book #1, Page 182.

Being the same lands conveyed to J.F. Richardson Real Estate & Development Co., Inc. by Deed dated 21 November 1978 and recorded in Deed book 155, Page 345, in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Winston Co., Alabama.

Said property will be sold "AS IS". Said property will be sold subject to the right of redemption of all parties entitled thereto. The debt secured by said Mortgage has been and is hereby declared due because of, among other possible events of default, failure to pay the indebtedness as and when due and in the manner provided in the Note and Mortgage. The debt remaining in default, this sale will be made for the purpose of paying the same and all expenses of this sale, as provided in said Mortgage and by Alabama law.
