LYNN - The Addison Bulldogs baseball team easily did away with Meek 13-1 on Monday, April 15.
The Bulldogs got things started in the first inning. AHS scored two runs when Jake Wilson singled.
Addison notched five runs in the second inning. Hayden Lee, Wilson, Ty Tuggle, and Colten Tyree all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Lee led the Bulldogs to victory on the mound. He allowed six hits and one run over five innings, striking out four.
Alden Archer took the loss for Meek. He surrendered one run on one hit over one and two-thirds innings, walking one.
Austin Bowling started the game for Meek. He surrendered four runs on three hits over one inning, striking out two.
Addison totaled 13 hits in the game. Jesse Brock, Lee, Wilson, Tuggle and Luke Waldrep each racked up multiple hits for Addison Bulldogs Varsity. Brock led Addison Bulldogs Varsity with three hits in three at bats. Addison Bulldogs Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Gage Gilliland had the most chances in the field with five.
Meek tallied six hits. Archer and Ory all collected multiple hits for Meek.
