Mrs. Logan was born June 20, 1925, to Harlie and Ethel Loden, of Winfield. She had five sisters and a brother, all of whom preceded her in death.
Mrs. Logan was married to B.C. “Buddy” Logan Jr., in 1947. They raised three sons: Bruce Wayne (Kathie), Benjamin David (Bonita) and Clarence Timothy (Judi). Following Buddy’s death in 1977, Mrs. Logan married J.C. “Jake” Logan in 1987, who passed away in 2015.
She worked for Health Tex in Guin for 25 years and was a member of the Church of Christ in Guin and Haleyville. She had a love for her job and co-workers. Johnnie Lou enjoyed walking through the woods, working outdoors, cooking (especially fried pies), visiting with family and friends and solving “word find” puzzles.
In addition to her sons and their spouses, she is survived by six grandchildren, Heath, Chris, Blair, Cameron, Joshua and Adam and four great-grandchildren, Connor, Sarah Beth, Lily and Henry. She also leaves behind many close and dear friends, as well as extended family.
The family would like to express gratitude to Dr. Shelby Sanford and members of Alabama Hospice for their loving and diligent care.
