DOUBLE SPRINGS - Although Winston County offices are scheduled to reopen to the public on Monday, May 18, the circuit clerk's office will remain closed until further notice, but will continue to conduct business.
Customers are being urged to visit the circuit clerk's website at www.WinstonCountyCircuitClerk.org for updates. Employees, although the office doors remain closed to the public, continue to active work for the people of Winston County, stressed Circuit Clerk J.D. Snoddy. Those needing to conduct business can call the office at 205-489-5533. These practices are continuing amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and will adhere to the resulting social distancing recommendations.
Those who wish to vote absentee for the upcoming July run0ff elections can contact the circuit clerk's office to request an application be sent by mail. Absentee ballots will be processed until July 9.
