NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE
WHEREAS, default has been made in the terms of the mortgage and real estate note, executed on the 26th day of August, 2015, by STEPHANIE B. ANDERSON and husband ADAM O. ANDERSON, as Mortgagor, in favor of LISTERHILL CREDIT UNION, as Mortgagee, original mortgage recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of WINSTON County, Alabama, in Book No. 600 at Pages 911-914, and said default continuing, the Mortgagee, under power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at public outcry, to the highest bidder for cash, on the courthouse steps preceding the main entrance to the WINSTON COUNTY COURTHOUSE, located in Double Springs, Alabama, during the legal hours of sale, on the 22nd day of May, 2018, all of its rights, title, and interest in and to the following described real estate, situated in WINSTON County, Alabama, whose legal description is:
Lot 15 in Block No. 2 of the South Highlands Addition to the Town of Haleyville, Alabama also a parcel of land adjoining said lot on the South, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the SE corner of Lot No. 15 of Block 2 of the South Highlands Addition to the Town of Haleyville, Alabama, thence W along the South boundary of said lot, 150 feet to the SW corner of said lot; thence S 25 feet; thence E 150 feet; thence N 25 feet to the point of beginning.
With a physical address of: 1625 9th Court, Haleyville, AL 35565.
This property will be sold on an “as is, where is” basis, subject to any easements, encumbrances, and exceptions contained in the records of the Office of the Judge of Probate of the County where the above-described property, or a substantial and material part thereof, is situated. This property will be sold without warranty or recourse, expressed or implied as to title, use and/or enjoyment and will be sold subject to the right of redemption of all parties entitled thereto. This sale is made for the purpose of foreclosing said mortgage and paying the mortgage debt, together with the costs and expenses associated with conducting said foreclosure, and including reasonable attorney's fees.
Mortgagee reserves the right to bid on the subject property, and to credit its purchase price against the indebtedness secured by this property, together with the costs and expenses associated with conducting said foreclosure, and including reasonable attorney's fees.
