Mary Faye DeVaney, 79, of Russellville, Alabama passed away Friday, June 11, 2021.
Faye was a Christian and a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church of Russellville. She worked for NACOLG before retiring.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband of 52 wonderful years, Donald DeVaney; son, Andy DeVaney; daughter Angela Mitchell (Mark); grandson, Tyler Mitchell (Amber); granddaughter, Brittany Flanagan (Daniel); great-grandchildren, Paisley Mitchell,
Connor Flanagan and Alaina Mitchell; sister, Becky Hightower, sister-in-law Ann James, as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Omie James; sister, Betty James; brothers Nelson James and Horace James.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 12:30 – 2 p.m. in the chapel at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. Bro. Wade Wallace and Bro. Neil Rogers will officiate. Interment will be in DeVaney Cemetery in Russellville following the funeral service.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Mitchell, Daniel Flanagan, Pete Smith, Randy Seal, John James and Bryan Sutton. Honorary pallbearers are Paisley Mitchell, Connor Flanagan and Alaina Mitchell.
