HALEYVILLE - Efforts of local individuals and churches, are underway to help a Haleyville homeowner get back on his feet, after being displaced by an early morning fire that destroyed his residence.

Homeland Security raids residence on 7th Avenue Thursday morning

HALEYVILLE - Federal charges have been filed against Haleyville couple Deivin and Crystal Escalante for allegedly funneling undocumented workers to a Jasper poultry plant, according to federal court documents.
