Betty M. Lee-Jones, 72, of Addison, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 17, 1950 in Cullman.
Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She lived for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved her fur babies, Prince Pee Wee and Mae Mae. Betty enjoyed cooking and working in her flower garden.
No services are planned at this time. Nichols Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Betty is survived by her husband, Ford Jones; children, Walter “Bo” (Liz) Lee, Betty Paulette (Archie) Lee, Thomas Lee, Sr. and Thomas (Andrea) Lee, Jr.; grandchildren, Debra (Daniel) Chambers, Thomas (Shay) Chambers, Royce Chambers, Hunter Lee, Piper Lee, Trent Webb, Tyler (Kerra) Leather, Alex Kyle, Bruce Kyle, Brayden Lee and Abby Lee; great-grandchildren, Brent, Breonna, Bailey, Colton, Heather, Victor, Emma, Tyler, Michael, Apollo, Lincoln and Laiyton; brother, Jimmy (Nancy) Brakefield and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Short Lee; father, James Monroe Brakefield; mother and stepfather, Lucille and Verlon Hyatt and brother, William Brakefield.
