He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jessie Sterling and daughter, Sandy Sterling Pope.
The family will have a private Celebration of Life Memorial at a later date.
The family wishes to express a heart of gratitude to the doctors and nurses of the ICU of Helen Keller Hospital, also the staff of The Pearl of The Shoals, where he resided for the last five years. As the full staff knows, Dad had his favorite, which was his CNA “Kim”. She always went above and beyond her duty to spoil him. Kim was the only one that could do anything right when it came to Daddy’s care; this is what he would say!!! We, as the children are stating thanks for all the love and care given to our Dear Daddy!!
Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
