Helen “Elise” Swinney, 78, of Spruce Pine, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022.
Elise above all was a Christian, as well as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Phil Campbell.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Swinney; children, Laura Voyles (Randy) and Amy Ayers (Heath); brothers, Howard Jackson (Jo), Elmer Jackson (Kay) and Bill Jackson (Rhoda); grandchildren, Brandon Voyles (Charity), Joshalyn Voyles, Jacob Ayers and Kaylie Hamby (Dalton) and great-grandchildren, Cole, Nolen, Ava and Leighton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from noon until 2 p.m., with her funeral following at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville. Bro Darryl Butts and Bro. Brandon Voyles will officiate. Interment will take place at Liberty Hill “Southside” Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randy Voyles, Jacob Ayers, Heath Ayers, Dalton Hamby, Robbie Tidwell and Barry Cook.
