Carol Ann Pace Cason, 64, of Haleyville, passed away on Monday, Aug. 15, 2022 at North Alabama Medical Center with her loving family surrounding her. She was born on Aug. 2, 1958 in Chicago, Ill. to Arlie and Anna Rico Pace.
Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She was of the Christian faith and found strength in the Lord. She was a homemaker for a number of years, and was employed for Walmart in Haleyville for 25 years before retiring in 2006.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Weston Sawyer; nephews, Michael Whitman and Bradley Cason and sisters-in-law, Melba Whitman and Betty Parker.
Carol is survived by her husband of nearly 45 years, Ronnie J.Cason, of Haleyville; sons, Jimmy (Melissa) Cason, of Stuttgart, Ark. and Jeremy (Jennifer) Cason, of Haleyville; grandchildren, Jordan, Cameron and Gavin Cason, all of Stuttgart and McKenzie Adams and Hunter Cason, both of Haleyville; great-grandchildren, Sophia Abbott, Brettlee Brewer and is expecting grandson Deacon; sisters, Pearl Cason ,of Haleyville, Judy (Paul) Jones, of East Franklin and Linda Haugeberg, of Illinois; brother, Jackie Pace, of Illinois; brothers-in-law, Garland Whitman, of Haleyville and Ricky (Marie) Cason, of LaGrange, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Judy (Ralph) Fuller, of LaGrange, Ga., Carla (Phillip) Brakefield ,of Haleyville and Pat Bozman, of Arab and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with Delmer Duboise officiating. Burial will follow in East Franklin Cemetery.
