Marguerite Ann Potter, 82, of Phil Campbell, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022, in Madison, GA.
Marguerite is survived by her son, Brian Trapp (Gwenda); daughters, Valerie Copeland (Jeff) and Miriam Trapp; sister, Naomi Renfroe; grandchildren, Bradley Trapp (Kim), Jasper Copeland, Dustin Trapp (Tonya), Kellie Hargett (Dustin), Lera Kidd (Dustin), Maria Pruett (Dustin), Marguerite DeWeerd (Ben) and Autumn Scoggins (Devin); great-grandchildren, Gianna Douglas, Will Douglas, Drake Pruett, Leah Copeland, Kazlyn Hammett, Tasha Trapp, Misty Trapp, MaKayla Jones, Jaxton Copeland and Areli DeWeerd and great-great-grandchild, Kellin Poore.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Trapp; husband, Earl Potter and her parents, Joseph and Miriam Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2022, from 1-2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Church, located on Hwy 81, Phil Campbell. Her funeral will follow at 2 p.m., also at the church. Bro. Darryl Whitehead and Bro. Brian Trapp will officiate. Interment will be in East Franklin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Trapp, Dustin Pruett, Jasper Copeland, Ben DeWeerd, Dustin Trapp, Devin Scoggins, Dustin Kidd and Dustin Hargett. Will Douglas and Drake Pruett will serve as honorary pallbearers.
