Sarah Carolyn Glasgow Horton, 88, of Belgreen (Glasgow Corner), passed away Monday, September 5, 2022.
Mrs. Sarah was a beloved wife to her loving husband, John. They had a very loving marriage and life. When John was due home, she would stop what she was doing and check her appearance, put on lipstick and welcome him home with supper on the table. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who showed much love to her entire family, as well as her friends. As a member of the Church of Christ, God was always part of her teachings.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Jo Britnell; sister, Jo Kathren King; a host of other family members and friends; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Robert Horton; son, Billy Wade Horton and parents, Wade and Bertha Mae Glasgow.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Mt. Home Church from 10 – 11 a.m., with her funeral following at 11 a.m. Randy Hargett will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Home Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kenley Britnell, B.J. Horton, Caden Daniel, Dawson Daniel, Bailey Latham, Mark Latham and Adam Daniel.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
