The first North Alabama Trails and Recreation (NATR) Expo will be Saturday, Oct. 1, in Point Mallard Park in Decatur from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Expo will have something for every outdoor enthusiast with over 60 exhibitors already registered, classes such as the “Raptor Showcase” and “Local Wildlife Skins & Skulls” and activities that will include kayaking, mountain biking and rock-wall climbing.
General admission is $10 for adults. Children 12 and under can attend for free.
NATR is looking for exhibitors from the Winston County area. Any entity with a relationship to outdoor recreation is welcome to be an exhibitor. A 10’x10’ booth in the open-air Expo Pavilion is $150 for for-profit organizations and $100 for non-profits. NATR is also seeking full-day and half-day volunteers for ticket sales, registration, security, parking, activity assistance, clean-up and more. Volunteers will be fed and will receive a T-shirt.
