Dorothy Elouise Wimberley, 85, of Phil Campbell, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023.
Dorothy was a Christian and a member of Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church in Phil Campbell. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her children, Vanessa Cochran, Joey Wimberley,
James Wimberley (Ellen) and Larry Wimberley (Terri); sister, Jean Herman (Carl); 7 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Wimberley Sr.; parents, James and Winnie Weeks; sisters, Louise Slagel and Allien Brandon and
daughter-in-law, Belinda Gail Wimberley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church in Phil Campbell from 12-2 p.m., with her funeral following at 2 p.m. Bro. Darrel Rambo and Bro. Corey Cochran will officiate the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Pinkard Funeral Home directed.
Pallbearers will be Justin Wimberley, David Wimberley, Gabe Cochran, Ben Cochran, John Timmons and Eric Weeks. Marty Walker will serve as honorary pallbearer.
