Jerry Donald "Hoss" Rawls, Sr., 75, of Dunn, NC, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Haleyville on July 20, 1948, to the late James and Mary Nell Caudle Rawls.
Mr. Rawls retired from Food Lion with 34 years of service. He loved woodworking, the Alabama Crimson Tide, watching his grandsons play sports and many talks with his granddaughter, Sarah.
His funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Bethel Church of Christ in Brilliant, with Josh Frazier officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service. Burial to follow in Bethel Cemetery. Pinkard Funeral Home will direct.
He is survived by his wife Regina Rawls; son, Jerry Rawls, Jr.; daughter, Gina Warren and husband Russ; brothers, Russell Dickinson, Harold Rawls, Charles Rawls, Randall Rawls, Terry Rawls, Leland Rawls and Bill Rawls; sister, Betty Frazier; grandchildren, Sarah Rawls, Weston Rawls, Jackson Warren, Gavin Warren and Nash Warren and his dog, Izzie.
