Nita Joyce Cooper, 78, of Arley, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 9, 1945 in Jasper.
Her family will hold a memorial graveside service Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery in the Piney Woods community. Brother James Aaron will officiate. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
Nita is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Kenneth) Banks; son, Tim (Diedre) Cooper; grandchildren, Tiffany Banks, Jamie (Caleb) Hawkins, Jessica (Jason) Gilbert, Chaz Cooper and Cade (Breanna) Cooper; great-grandchildren, Jaxon (Abigail) Banks, Hannah (Logan) Williams, Kane Banks, Kayne Hawkins,and Camryn Hawkins and great-great-grandchildren, Jax Cooper, Everleigh Banks and Lainey Jo Camp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Cooper; father, Rufus Pierce; mother, Pauline Williams and daughter-in-law, Dee Dee Cooper.
