Kenneth Wayne Henderson, 72, of Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at his home. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, was a member of Masonic Lodge 464 and was a retired truck driver.
His visitation will be Friday September 6, 2024 from 10 - 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with Bro. Royce Brimer officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tracy Rye, Van Tidwell, Blue Russell, Greg Hyde, Chris Southern and Ronnie Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Rodgers Henderson; children Derek Henderson (Taylor Glover), Keith Dodd (LaShae Berry), Corey Hunt, (wife Carolyn Hunt) and Tina Hunt; brothers and sister, Gary Henderson (wife Darlene,) Tammie Henderson Cosbie, (husband Steven Hunt) and Ricky Henderson; grandchildren, Natalie Hunt, Bentley Benefield, Abby Davis, Ryker Kirk, Brodie Hunt, Brooklyn Hunt and Emaleigh Hunt and a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Corene Henderson; daughters, Rebecca Ann Henderson and Sherry Lynn Henderson; son, Billy Wayne Henderson and sisters, Patricia Ann Cagle and Bobbie Henderson.
