ARLEY - Meek Baptist Church is again partnering with Kids Loving Kids (KLK) for a Christmas giveaway for Winston County children and teens in need on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Kids in need from 0-18 (or their parents or guardians) will be able to choose a certain number of toys or other items, such as hygiene products or decor, at the church. The number of items per child will depend on how many total items are available. The doors will open at 8:30 a.m. so that parents and guardians can fill out a registration form before the giveaway begins.
At 9 a.m., families will be able to choose from the selection of items in the church's gym with the assistance of a volunteer serving as their personal shopper. Families may also visit the church's clothes closet and food pantry during the giveaway, if needed.
Donations of gently used toys or new toys or monetary support may be made at the MBC office before the giveaway--or even after, for next year's giveaway, Burns said. There is also a toy drop box at the Arley Dollar General.
Meek Baptist Church is located on Helicon Road in Arley.
