Carrie Vivian Nicholson, 94, of Haleyville, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024. She was a member of Maxwell Chapel Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2024 from noon until 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Her funeral will begin at 2 p.m., with Gary Brashier officiating. Burial will follow in Ephesus Cemetery.
Ms. Nicholson is survived by her children, Mitchell (Martha) Nicholson, Kathy Bell and son-in-law, Allon Weaver; grandchildren, Chad (Katelin) Bell, Kyle Bell, Nicholas Weaver and Keith Nicholson; great-grandchildren, Carlee Bell, Kiah Bell, Cain Bell, Ethan Nicholson and Melee Weaver and siblings, Rayburn Rogers, Tony Rogers, Gwen Scott and Dean Hallman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Nicholson; daughter, Vicki Weaver; son-in-law, Randy Bell; parents, Charles D and Annie Lou Rogers; brothers, JW Rogers, Tommy Rogers, Joe Rogers, Jimmy Rogers and Edward Rogers and sisters, Thera Mae Defoor and Clara Nell McClemore.
