Angela Thomas, better known as "Angi" or "GiGi", 49, of Double Springs, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital.
She was born Nov. 24, 1975, to Paul and Peggy Sue Defoe.
Angela loved to cook, shop and to give. She was known as a protector and a provider. Angela loved to go on long car rides with David and their dog, Poppy. Her hobbies included watching mystery and crime shows. Angela's life centered around her family whom she loved dearly.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs. Brother Danny Paige will officiate.
Angela is survived by her spouse, David Thomas; children, Leslie Rana Rood, Shelby Leeann Myrtle Rood, Robert Leslie Rood Jr., Seth Thomas and Allie Thomas; grandchildren, Payslie, Scarlette, Rubee, Ezlyn and Henry; parents, Stan and Darlene Thomas; sisters, Paula Parcus and Jennifer Cambron; brother, Paul Defoe; beloved Aunt Pam; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Defoe and Peggy Laster, her beloved grandfather and her beloved Maltese, Lona Mae.
