Jessie Faye Lovett Ellenburg, 87, of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Haleyville Health & Rehab Center surrounded by family and loving healthcare members.
Her funeral will be Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 2 pm at Winston Memorial Cemetery, officiated by Bishops Michael Threadgill and Keith Banks. Pinkard Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs Ellenburg was born May 19, 1938 in Haleyville, Winston County, Alabama to Jesse and Ida Lois Knight Lovett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Ellenburg; her parents; two brothers, Vernon Lovett and James Lovett; one infant sister and grandson, Jason Matthew Miller.
Jessie Faye loved her family, which was her pride and joy. She loved to work in her yard and garden, Alabama football, watch "Wheel of Fortune," traveling, especially to Walt Disney World and genealogy. She served many local folks with her housecleaning service, which she did to the best of her ability. She was a faithful volunteer at the Winston County Archives in Double Springs. Jessie Faye also served her community as a poll worker for Winston County. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church of Haleyville for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Dianne Tidwell Miller; sister Floymae Lovett Tidwell; two grandchildren, Kevin Bryan Miller (Anjaleah Cavender) and Ashley Miller Bogle (Mike), three great-grandchildren, Colby Bogle (Reagan), Cameron Miller (Skylar) and Kale Miller; one great-great granddaughter, Oakland Bogle; one brother-in-law, Radford Tidwell and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
The family would like to express their special appreciation for the loving care she received from the staff of Haleyville Health & Rehab, Keller Home Care and Hospice of Northwest Alabama.
