Malinda Rayburn, 70, of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Malinda was born December 20, 1955 to William and Iona Cooper.
A gathering of friends will take place Friday, April 3, 2026 from 1-2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill No 2. Baptist Church in Double Springs, where her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Brother Randy Taylor will officiate. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
Malinda is survived by her daughters, Heather (Jabbo) Hill, Amanda Kay (Brian) Proulx and Ashley (Julian) Mathis; son, Kenneth (Jennifer) Rayburn; sisters, Renee (Glenn) Baker and Bonnie Aaron; brother, Kenneth (Janis) Jackson; a host of nieces and nephews; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Cooper; mother, Iona Harris; stepfather, James Godsey; sister, Brenda Cooper; nephew, Jason Jackson; brother, Bruce Cooper, grandson, RJ White and great-grandson, Brayden Smith.
