Hulas Dwight "Rooster" McGuire, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Visitation will be Friday, April 10, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, where his celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in East Franklin Cemetery.
Rooster loved his daughters, grandchildren and great-grands. Family gatherings were his favorite time being a dad and Paw Paw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hulas “Diddle” McGuire and Othenery Pace McGuire.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Burleson McGuire; two children, Callie Hamby and Angelic Quinn; five grandchildren, Dustin Hamby (Blake), Cypress Daughtry (Trey), Caymen Quinn (Bryson), Chesney Hamby (Chris) and Cody Quinn (Ashlyn); 2 great-grandchildren, Ryler Hayes Terry and Lancyn Shepp Mitchell; special family friends, Wayne Hamby, Corey Quinn, Max Baxer and Matthew Moody and a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Van Tidwell, Heath Tidwell, Chad Tidwell, Lee Tidwell, Jacky Hodge and Tony Hodge.
Honorary pallbearers are Harold Pace, Danny Pace and David Cason.
