Mrs. Varnes Hacker Humphries Warhurst, 89, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
She lived all of her life in Franklin County and was a member of Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church.
Her funeral was held Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville,with Stanley Hargett officiating. Burial followed in Bethsaida Cemetery.
Survivors include husband, Wilmer Warhurst; children, Hoyt Humphries, Varnell Brooks and Barbara Sue Mansell; stepdaughters, Sherry (Pete) Smith, and Renae Smith; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; brothers, Reynon Hacker and Athel Hacker; sisters, Lela Dawson and Jackie Coleman and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Joe Mansell, Paul Mansell, Courtney Humphries, Connor Mansell, Caleb Mansell and Adam Brooks.
Honorary bearers were Wade Hacker and Damon Hacker.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Avo Humphries; brothers, Venyon, W.C., Velon, Wayne, Anthony and Harty Hacker; sister, Ripple Sue Hardesty; sons-in-law, Harold Brooks and Johnny Mansell and stepson, Mark Smith.
