Jury in deliberations in Ashley Fields murder trial

DOUBLE SPRINGS - After over a week of testimony, the jury is now in deliberations in the trial of Ashley Brooke Fields in Double Springs.  Fields is accused of killing her 6-month-old daughter Adalyn Fields, in 2015.  Presiding Judge Lee Carter has instructed the jury they can find Fields guilty or not guilty on one of the following four charges:  capital murder, or murder done with the intent to kill an individual; felony murder, which is murder that is committed while committing a felony act that is clearly dangerous to human.  The third choice is aggravated child abuse, or willfully mistreating a child in a way to cause serious physical abuse and the fourth choice is manslaughter, which is recklessly causing the death of another person.
