DOUBLE SPRINGS - Local business owner Terry Baker and his sons Adam Baker and Owen Oliver, of Baker Millwright and Maintenance, have been giving a helping hand not only in Winston County but all over the southeast.
A chance meeting at Winston Machinery in Lynn with a business owner in Florida has led to months of work in that state helping to rebuild a sawmill which was partly destroyed by fire January 15, 2018.
Lawtey, Florida, is a small town with its main business as the recently burned out sawmill Tatum Brothers Lumber Company. It had been in operation for approximately 50 years when the old building burned.
