ADDISON - The Addison Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual Christmas auction Saturday, Dec. 1, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Addison Fire Station, located at Alexander Park on County Road 41 north.
The SEC Championship game between Alabama and Georgia will be on the big screen TV beginning at 3 p.m. at the station, with tailgating taking place before the auction begins. The game will continue to be screened during the auction, as well.
A tremendous amount of items will be up for bid during the auction, including lots of toys, including two large, big ticket items, along with Christmas decorations and gifts for all ages. There will truly be something for everyone on a Christmas list up for bid.
Concessions will be available for purchase during the auction, as well.
All proceeds from the auction will go to the Addison Fire Department. Last year, the Christmas auction raised $15,000 for the Addison Volunteer Fire Department, which was greatly appreciated. Firefighters hope to raise even more from this year’s auction.
Everyone is invited to come out, watch the football game, enjoy some great food and hopefully win some really great Christmas items.
