BEAR CREEK - The fourth annual Little Miss Valentine and Miss Valentine Pageant will be Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Attie Fleming Building. Contestant check-in will be at 4:30 p.m. and the pageant will begin at 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and children. Children not enrolled in school are admitted free. The contestant and one adult chaperone for the girls ages birth through the sixth grade will be admitted free-of-charge.
Registration and rehearsal will be Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 6 p.m. The registration fee is $25 per child, and $15 for each additional child in the same family. There will be a Most Photogenic contest. The cost to enter it is $5. Only one photo, no larger than an 8x10 needs to be submitted. A color or black and white photo may be used. The photo does not need to be in a frame. Please write the contestant's name on the back of the photo and bring it to registration. Payment for registration and Most Photogenic can be made by cash or check, and checks need to be made out to Phillips High School. No refunds will be given for last-minute cancellations.
All contestants must attend the rehearsal Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Attie Fleming Building at 6 p.m.
The Little Miss Valentine Pageant is for ages birth through sixth grade. The Miss Valentine Pageant is for grades 7-12. The divisions for the Little Miss Valentine Pageant will be determined by the number of contestants entered. There will be 2 divisions for the Miss Valentine Pageant - grades 7-9 and grades 10-12. Miss Valentine is open to Phillips High School students only.
Little Miss Valentine will be Sunday dress (no formals). Miss Valentine will be formal wear.
