Arthur Doyle Williams, 101, of Haleyville, passed away Monday February 4, 2019. Doyle served in the United States Marine Corps during WWII, attaining the rank of sergeant. He was a graduate of Palmer Chiropractor School, having practiced for 43 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Haleyville.
His visitation will be Friday February 8, 2019 from 1- 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. His funeral will be at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with Bro. Mitch Nethery officiating. Burial to follow in Union Grove Cemetery (Co. Hwy 62).
He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Ethel Williams; son, Arthur (Rebecca) Williams; sons-in-law, Johnny Roberts and Don Kelley; grandchildren, Tracie Roberts, Christa Nall, Shonda Bush, Marty Logan, Lucas Kelley and Hannah Kelley; 5 great-grandchildren and 1-great-great-grandchild and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Oscar Williams and Fannie Lou Ader Bobo Williams; children, Janie Lou Williams Roberts, Felicia Williams Logan and Marcia Williams Kelley and brother, Ottis Williams.
