Electronic recycling event July 17 in Hamilton

HAMILTON - Those needing to get rid of obsolete electronic devices will have the opportunity to do so Friday, July 17, from 8 a.m. until noon.

Ecyclers USA will be at the CDL testing site in Hamilton to accept several different types of electronics that need to be recycled.  The following items will be accepted:

Copiers - no charge

Fax machines - no charge

Printers (desktop or floor size) - no charge

Computers - no charge

Telephone equipment - no charge

Power backups - no charge

Servers - no charge

Small appliances - no charge

Televisions - 40 cents per pound fee

CRT monitors - 40 cents per pound fee

Disposal is done in strict accordance with all local, state and federal regulations.

To reach the disposal site, travel south out of Hamilton on U.S. Highway 43 then turn right at Dinelli's Pizza onto Airport Road.  Go west 0.3 miles and turn right onto Dr. Pyle Drive.  Go 0.1 miles, and the CDL testing site will be on the left.
