Warren Carroll Lee Jr., 85, of Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020, at Cedar Hill, Utah following a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease. Warenski Funeral Home of American Fork, Utah assisted the family.
Warren was born Sept. 8, 1934, to Warren Carroll Lee Sr. and Frances Magnolia Carr. Following high school graduation, Warren joined the United States Army. After finishing his enlistment, Warren joined the civil service as a communications specialist. Warren and his family traveled extensively for his work and found time for leisurely travel. Warren retired in 1993 from civil service and spent most of his retired life in Arizona. In his retirement, Warren found joy in building energy efficient homes. Throughout his life and into retirement, Warren loved hunting, fishing, collecting, restoring British sports cars, stargazing and flying model airplanes. Warren will be lovingly missed by all those who knew him.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Caroline Padilla and Pauline Spann.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of over 50 years, Young Soon; children, Diane C. Lee-Smith and her husband Dennis Smith, Angela Lee Claburn and her husband Lynn Claburn and Gene Lee and his wife Wendy Lee; grandchildren, Michael Smith, Joseph Smith, Justin Camper and his wife Jamie Camper, Rebekah Lee Edman and her husband Nick Edman, Olivia James, Owen James and Ryenna Lee and great-grandchildren, Lexi Camper, Jaiden Camper, Jaylee Camper and Lena Edman.
