Hazel Pauline Corsbie, 96, of Haleyville, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at Russellville Health Care. Ms. Corsbie loved attending/dancing at Hee Haw in Franklin County, was a member of Haleyville Senior Center where she loved to socialize, work on jigsaw puzzles and fellowship and was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Haleyville.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 6, 2021 from noon-2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Greg Beasley and Ricky Thrasher officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Ashridge community.
Pallbearers will be Greg Corsbie, Kyle Corsbie, Sammy Garrison, Benny Hearn, Jeff McDonald and Bryan McDonald. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne McDonald and Stevie McDonald.
Ms. Corsbie is survived by grandchildren, Greg (Gina) Corsbie, Melody (Sammy) Garrison and Kyle (Misty) Corsbie; great-grandchildren, Rilan Garrison, Kylee Corsbie and Kendan Garrison; sister-in-law, Lorrine Cagle; nieces and nephews, Wayne (Brenda) McDonald, Sandra (Don) Wright, Glenda (Benny) Hearn and Donna Proctor and Roger.
She is preceded in death by her parents, W.M. and Pearlie Cagle; husband, A.C. Corsbie; son, Gerald Corsbie; and siblings, Rachel (J.C.) McDonald, Ellis Cagle, Thelma Cagle, Elma (Billy) Shelton and Doris (Emmitt) Thompson.
