DOUBLE SPRINGS - Rock Creek Baptist Church, located off of Highway 33 North of Double Springs, will welcome Singing With Grace in concert Sunday, April 19, at 5 p.m.
A fellowship meal will follow.
Pastor Kirk Cagle and the congregation welcome all to attend.
PHIL CAMPBELL - Modern Woodmen of America Chapter 16126 is sponsoring a benefit supper Friday, April 24, from 4-7 p.m. at New Hope Methodist Church, located at 10845 Highway 81 in Phil Campbell.
Smoked chicken and pulled pork plates will be available for $10 a plate. Modern Woodmen will provide up to a $1,000 match to all monies raised.
All proceeds will go to help John McCullar with the cost of his cancer treatment.
DOUBLE SPRINGS - This Saturday, June 6, is Bluegrass Saturday at the Looney’s Amphitheater Complex and Cultural Center, located off of Highway 278 just east of Double Springs.
Taking the stage in the Dual Destiny Indoor Theater at 6 p.m. will be Julie Moon & the Bluegrass Connection, followed by Gravel Ridge Unit w/Jarrett Hall at 7 p.m.
Admission is $10, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Winston County Arts Council to help them with their quest of restoring the Looney’s Tavern Amphitheater and Complex.
