HALEYVILLE - First Baptist Church in Haleyville will host a Swamp John’s benefit supper Monday, Nov. 3, from 3-6 p.m. in the Dollar Tree parking lot off of Highway 195.
Plates will be $15 and will include fish, chicken, shrimp or combination of meats, fries, slaw, hushpuppies, a dill pickle spear, onion slice and sweet or unsweet tea.
Proceeds will go to help with missions at First Baptist Church.

 

EAST FRANKLIN - The East Franklin Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a benefit BBQ and smoked chicken supper Friday, Nov. 7, from 4-7 p.m., at the East Franklin Volunteer Fire Department, located at 10443 Highway 81 in Phil Campbell.

DOUBLE SPRINGS - Garrison Bonds Post 184 of the American Legion in Double Springs invites all veterans and their spouses, as well as widows and/or widowers of veterans to join their members and Auxiliary for their 2025 veterans appreciation dinner Saturday, Nov. 8, from 5-7 p.m. at the post home, located at 60 New Legion Road in Double Springs.

DOUBLE SPRINGS - The Double Springs Study Club’s annual silent auction will take place Thursday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the BankFirst building in downtown Double Springs off of Main Street.
