Lora Corene Higginbotham

Mrs. Lora Corene Higginbotham, 86, of Cullman, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 in the Cullman Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Higginbotham was born on May 2, 1933 in Russellville, AL to Luther and Gladys Bishop. Lora was a graduate of Phil Campbell High School and worked for many years as a bookkeeper.

Faris Emery Taylor

Mr. Faris E. Taylor, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at Russellville Hospital at the age of 90. A life-time resident of Franklin County, he was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ and a lifetime member and founder of Waterfall Valley Hunting Club. He was a retired park ranger with Bear Creek Development Authority.

Patti Shaaban, 57, of Double Springs, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper.  No service is planned at this time.

Julian Almon Rivers

Julian Almon Rivers, 82, of Phil Campbell, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019.  His visitation will be from 12 – 2 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.

Foy J. Hood

Foy J. Hood passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019, in Lexington, Ky. His memorial service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Lexington Primitive Baptist Church, with burial in Lexington Cemetery.

Rickey Wayne Harris

Rickey Wayne Harris, 63, of Cullman, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at his home.

Mr. Harris was born on Nov. 21, 1955 in West Hollywood, Florida. He was a graduate of West Point High School in 1974. Rickey enjoyed coon hunting when he was able and was known by the nicknames "Fat Rat" and "Mule" by his family and friends.
