Miriam Wanda Cook, 87, of Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2026. She was a member of Littleville Methodist Church.
Her graveside service will be Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Winston Memorial Cemetery, with Wannell Scott officiating. Pinkard Funeral Home will direct.
Ms. Cook is survived by her son, Shane Cook (wife, Nicole) and grandson, Jay Cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Cook; parents, Paul Jones Holdbrooks and Ruby Emily Holdbrooks; brothers, G.W. Holdbrooks and Ross Holdbrooks and sister, Vernette Norris.
