William Lewis “Doug” Glaze, Sr. was born on October 2, 1944 in Haleyville. He spent most of his years moving from Haleyville to all over Florida and then back here again. He finally came back to stay in 1992 and remained until his peaceful passing at his home on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the age of 75.
