Charles Raymond Henson, 85, of Double Springs, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026 at his home beside his loving wife.
Charles was born June 3, 1941 to Chester and Alfie Henson.
A gathering of friends will take place Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 12-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, with his memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. Zeke Vanderpool and Carolyn VanHousen will officiate.
Charles is survived by his wife, Jocasta Henson; children, Carolynn (Jason) VanHousen, David Black, Teri Henson and Tracey Henson; brothers, Wayne (Betty) Henson and Zeke Vanderpool; sister, Bonnie (Doody) Bailey; brother-in-law, Bruce Walker;and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Henson and parents, Alfie Lee and Chester Henson.
