Billy Wayne Elliott, 79, of Cullman, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.
Billy was born October 29, 1946 to Fred and Mary Elliott. He loved eating at the Golden Corral. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch and watching people drive by and telling stories.
The family will be holding a private memorial service. Nichols Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Billy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lois "Sam" Elliott; sons, Billy Wayne Elliott Jr., Steve Elliott and Keith Elliott; sister, Sheila Purser; grandchildren, Whittney and Josh Ergle, Dalina and Andrew Walker, Dustin and Jessica Elliott, Zackery and Lilli Elliott, Kaitlyn Elliott and Tracy Bowen and a host of great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Elliott; brothers, Donald Elliott and Herbert Elliott; son, Jeff Elliott and great-grandchild, Chloe Jade Young.
