2023 Little Mr. and Miss Spring Pageant April 1

DOUBLE SPRINGS - The Winston County High School Band and Band Boosters' annual Little Mr. and Miss Spring Pageant will take place Saturday, April 1, at 1 p.m. in the Double Springs Middle School gymnasium.

The pageant is open to girls ages birth through 12 and boys ages birth through 3.  Sunday dress only.  No pageant dresses, please. 

The entry fee is $30.  There will be optional categories that can be entered at an additional cost, as well.  The photogenic category cost if $5.  Only 5x7 photos will be accepted, and please include the child's name, age and a contact number on the back on the photo.

Other additional categories will be $10.  Those categories include Best Dress, Best Personality, Best Smile, Prettiest Eyes and Prettiest Hair.  Add-on categories will be judged during group and individual appearances.

All entry forms and money must be turned in on Tuesday, March 28, which is the night of rehearsal, at the DSMS gym.  Checks need to be made payable to the WCHS Band.  No refunds will be given, no exceptions.

Each participant must attend rehearsal.  Rehearsal times will be as follows:

0-11 month girls:  5:30 p.m.

0-23 month boys:  5:40 p.m.

12-23 month girls:  5:50 p.m.

2-year-old girls:  6:15 p.m.

2 & 3-year-old boys:  6:30 p.m.

3-year-old girls:  6:45 p.m.

4-year-old girls:  7 p.m.

5-year-old girls:  7:15 p.m.

6-year-old girls:  7:30 p.m.

7-year-old girls:  7:45 p.m.

8-year-old girls:  8 p.m.

9-12-year-old girls:  8:15 p.m.

Admission to the pageant will be $8.  Children 4 and under get in free.  Each participant's designated adult will get a free pass.  No one is allowed in the dressing rooms without a pass.  Absolutely no men will be allowed in the dressing rooms.

Back by popular demand this year will be the People's Choice Award.  During the pageant, there will be a table set up to cast your vote for your favorite contestant.  Each vote will cost $1.  Any and all collected money for your contestant will be taken up the day of the pageant.

All proceeds from the Little Mr. and Miss Spring Pageant will go to benefit the WCHS Band.
